I am the Director of a production of Beauty and the Beast in Queens.  We have a show that goes up in 1 month and our actor who plays the role of Gaston has left the project.  Obviously you can imagine my concern.  I am reaching out to any and all theater programs in hopes that someone could send word out that this role is now open.

The company does very challenging work and I am sure the experience would be a positive one.

Here are details:

Company SGTG
Located in Bellerose, Queens

Production: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast

Show dates: August 7 – 16th.

We rehearse Mon-Thurs evenings
Sunday afternoons ‘depending on what scenes we are working on’
The characters age range should be 20 – 35.
This character is a major role in the show.  Someone who has already played the role or is very familiar with it would be the perfect candidate.
Most of the actors playing principal roles have acted in regional and/or off broadway productions.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give,

Kathy Rollo Ferrara
Director
